Sentinel Literary Quarterly (SLQ) is The Magazine of World Literature published by SPM Publications on the last days of January, April, July and October every year.

SLQ is an amalgamation of three magazines previously published by the movement, namely; Sentinel Poetry (Online), Sentinel Poetry Quarterly and Sentinel Champions.

Sentinel Poetry (Online) was in publication between December 1, 2002 and April 2008. The Founding Editor of Sentinel Poetry (Online) was Nnorom Azuonye who edited the magazine from inception until February 2005. Amatoritsero Ede served as Editor of the magazine between March 2005 and December 2007. Azuonye returned as Editor for one more issue of the magazine and set it up for a merger with our print magazine; Sentinel Poetry Quarterly which had been in publication between July 2004 and December 2005.

Sentinel Literary Quarterly currently appears as a read ‘at no cost’ magazine online and also in print. Whilst we are committed to make some of the finest written words available at no cost to lovers of literature across the world we do need to sell magazines to carry on doing what we do. Rather than ask for donations, we encourage our readers to buy the print versions if they can afford it. Another excellent way of supporting SLQ is to enter our quarterly poetry competitions.

SLQ is currently edited by Mandy Pannett (Poetry, and Poetry Reviews) and Nnorom Azuonye, the Managing Editor looks after fiction, drama, essays and all other book reviews.
